BrightStar was set the challenge of how to show off a £53 million pound new college in just thirty seconds and make it interesting and appealing to all sorts of people!
The head teacher kindly gave us creative free rein. We decided a 'Free-runner' was a good way to get the viewer to have a virtual and exciting tour of Hartlepool FE College's fabulous new building. The music chosen was a deliberate contrast to the energy of the Free-runner, giving the commercial a dreamy surreal feel.
The advert was such a success that the college commissioned another one and made the theme part of a much wider advertising campaign.
